Do ya'll know about Booksneeze? If you haven't heard of it, read on! It involves free books. Yes, you heard me right. Free books!
Booksneeze is a way for bloggers to expand their libraries and tell others about their reading via book reviews. If you enjoy reviewing books, Booksneeze allows you to select a book from among hundreds of titles; they will then send you that book free of charge, on the condition that you read the book in full, and post a 200+ review of it on your blogsite. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. Fill out the Booksneeze online application HERE!
Awesome, you decided to join, too! :) Which book did you request for your first? I went with the one on praying continuously. Hey, did you know we both have thirteen followers right now?? Woohoo! :) OH!! I just added your button to my blog!! *hugs* Now I have to install Elements on this computer, and make one for myself! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I just applied :D.
ReplyDeleteI selected "The Liturgical Year," by Joan Chittister. I was surprise, like you, Alena, that there actually is NOT (ahem) "hundreds" of books to choose from. Just religious books. Currently. I do hope that other genres make their way into the selections from time to time. I assume this is just what's available from the book distributors at the time.
ReplyDeleteI just requested Couples who pray :P. I'm kind of suspicious at the intention of the site giving out mostly religious books though.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Abbi, but I am pretty sure that Booksneeze just accepts whatever book distributors are offering at any given time. That's my take on it. Right now, apparently, it's religious literature. Ah, well.
