Everybody's going back to school. Except for me. *SIGH*
Even my hubby is going back to school soon. Not right away and not actually going per se. He's in the process of applying to an online master's program at University of WA. He'll be doing the work from home to getting his MA in Library Science. People like to call it an "Information Technology" degree. Anyway. He'll be doing that.
I will be...running around with a very small child. At home.
And believe me, I'm over the moon about being a mommy soon. I really am. But it happens to me every Autumn; I experience academia withdrawals. I'm one of those people who would be ever so content to be a lifer in the university system.
What about you? Are there mommies out there who dream of going back to school, too? What about you mothers of small children who ARE in school? How do you juggle the workload? I'd love to hear from bookish moms!

ReplyDeleteI am right there with you - every fall, I get an itch to go back to classes, and a little depressed when I can't. Someday :)
